2-Person Scramble Rules

Format

• Teams of 2 players.
• Both players tee off on every hole.
• The team selects the best shot.
• Both players hit from that spot.
• Repeat this process until the ball is holed.
   

Ball Placement

• Shots are played within one club length of the selected ball.
• Must stay in the same condition:
  • Fairway → fairway
  • Rough → rough
  • Bunker → bunker
• Cannot move closer to the hole.

On the Green

• Place balls within one putter head length of the selected spot.
• Clean and mark balls as needed.
• No improving the line of the putt.

Scoring

• One score per team per hole.
• Lowest total score wins.
• Use gross score.

Handicap

• 35% of Player A + 15% of Player B
  • Player A = lower handicap
  • Player B = higher handicap

Pace of Play

• Be ready to hit.
• Limit time reading putts.
• Keep it moving—scrambles can drag if you let them.
