Anyone is welcome to register for the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship; however, acceptance into the field is determined strictly by a player’s World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) or by being selected as a member of their state or provincial golf association’s three-person Morse Cup Team. Here is the list of member associations that field Morse Cup Teams.
Invitations have been extended to the highest-ranked players in WAGR, and priority acceptance is given to those individuals. If you have received an invitation from the Pacific Coast Golf Association or are currently ranked within the top 300 in WAGR, your entry will be processed within 48 hours, and your credit card will be charged at that time.
If you have not received an invitation, you are still encouraged to register. Your credit card will not be charged unless and until you are accepted into the field.
Please note: Players who have not received an invitation and are ranked 1000 or higher in WAGR will not be considered for acceptance until early June. You may still register in advance, and no charges will be applied during this period.
The championship field is limited to 108 players, with final selections taking place by July 10.
