Standing Tee Times and New Member Tee Time Availability:

Interest in the Men’s League continues to grow, and we’d love to accommodate as many players as possible. We must fulfill our mission as a public golf facility by remaining open and serving the community. Standing tee times is a privlige, not a right. Members must adhere to the same policy of all other guests of Mountain Dell regarding our no-show policy. It is each players responsibility to cancel within two hours of his tee time. Otherwise, the no-show fee will be charged to the card on file. Please also be considerate of the fact that we have a waiting list of groups wanting to join the league. These groups may not have a standing tee time and are relying on the fact that each week some groups can not use their standing tee time which creates an opportunity for them to compete each week at different times.

Unfilled spots in league tee times with less than four players will be available for new league members and singles/twosomes to join.

Anyone with a standing tee time is requested to email Kobe at MDevents@slc.gov by April 1 to confirm that they wish to retain their time and to provide the names of the players in their group.

Tee times not confirmed by April 1 will be opened to new league members.

All players in a confirmed tee time must be registered league members and pay the weekly entry fee.

- No-Show Policy: A no-show fee of $20 (9-holes) or $40 (18-holes) will be charged if you fail to show up for your tee time without notifying a staff member. You have up to 2 hours before your scheduled time to cancel. Please call in advance to cancel your tee time. Players who fail to cancel and are a no-show for two consecutive weeks will lose their standing tee time.
- Handicap:
- All members must register with the UGA and establish a handicap through the World Golf Handicap System. Before registering for the league, you must renew your handicap on UGA.org.
- Players that have not paid UGA dues, Men's League dues, and/or do not have an established handicap, are not eligible to compete in any men's league event.
- Entry fees:
- Weekly entry fees will be $13. $10 will go towards the weekly gross and net game, and $3 will go to the skins game.
- Check-In: All players must check in and pay the appropriate green fees and the weekly entry fee.
- Tees Played:
- Black tees: Players under the age of 50 with a handicap index of 5.9 or less.
- Blue tees: Players age 50 and above and/or a handicap index of 6-12.9.
- White tees: Players age 60 and above and/or a handicap index of 13 and above.
- Gold tees: Players age 70 and above.
- Remember that the further a player moves up, the less handicap received.
- Scorecard: We will be utilizing live scoring. A paper scorecard is no longer required to be turned into the shop. Please have each player in the group confirm all scores are correct. Probably a good idea for one player to keep a paper scorecard, while another does live scoring to ensure accuracy.
- Results: A live leaderboard may be viewed throughout the day. Results will be posted immediately following the completion of the final round of the day.
