Format

Match Play

 Course Setup

Play will be from the White Tees for Men & Boys; Red Tees for Women 

Practice Area

Short game practice area beside 10th hole. Putting green adjacent to clubhouse. Pin High Driving Range located across the road from the entrance to the club opens at 8am.

Local Rules

Golf Ireland’s HARD CARD is in operation. The local rules on the club scorecard will not apply. 
Any additional local rules will be advised to teams at check in.

Catering

Team Managers must confirm numbers for catering in advance Tel. 0404 68168 Ext 4.
All catering bills and beverages must be paid on the day by teams. 

Photographs

There will be no official photographer at the venue however Golf Ireland officials will take photos of the winners.  

Practice

Teams may avail of one complimentary practice round by contacting the Pro Shop 0404 68 168 Ext 3.  Any additional practice required is at the discretion of the host club and green fees apply.
Golf Ireland Voucher system in operation. Each Team Captain has been issued a link to download practice vouchers which must be presented on arrival at the Pro Shop.  Maximum of 12 vouchers permitted per team.

Referees

Referees will be situated throughout the course to give rulings when required. These referee will be also be monitoring the pace of play. Should players fall out of position, they will be timed and may be penalised for bad times. Please ensures players are conscious of the need to play at steady pace.

 

It is important to note referees are not assigned to follow any individual group. A team captain is not part of the side under the rules of golf and cannot act on the players’ behalf in this regard. However, a team captain can advise the players to call a referee.

Registration & Result Cards

Team Captains Registration area and scoring is located in the Bar Area.
Team Captains are encouraged to submit their Team Sheet with the Golf Ireland official on-site one hour prior to tee off. Teams Sheets may still be amended up to 30 minutes before tee time.

Players are asked to return "I Won Cards" to a Golf Ireland official immediately after matches conclude.

Trollies

Trollies from the Pro Shop. 

Buggies

Buggies are available for use by Referees only. Golf Ireland’s Transportation Policy applies to all other persons on site.

Transportation Policy 

A copy of Golf Ireland's Transportation Policy is available for the Club Hub and will be strictly enforced. Please note that this policy intends to facilitate players only with physical disabilities in allowing such individuals to use Golf Buggies. However, the use of a Golf Buggy will be subject to any heath and safety restrictions laid down and is contingent on the individual sourcing own transportation with own third party insurance, as buggies will not be available form the host clubs for this purpose.

 

Any competitor intending to use a Golf Buggy in accordance with the Transportation Policy MUST contact the regional office in advance via email at leinster@golfireland.ie and are REQUIRED to submit the appropriate certification in advance of their arrival at the venue. Submission of certification in person on the day of competition will not be sufficient to be allowed to use a buggy.

It is essential that you familiarise yourself with the Regulations for Cups and Shields Competitions which can be found on the Golf Ireland Inter-Club Resources.

Other items

PARKING - parking is available but limited so please car pool where possible.
Clubhouse & Pro Shop open one hour before tee time.
Smart casual. No golf shoes or hats permitted in the clubhouse and shoes must be worn at all times.
Players must provide their own towels for showering. 
Presentations will take place approx. 10 mins after each final concludes.
