PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

Players must be 25 years of age by the first day of competition. The 144-player field is selected as follows (if qualified applicant received by deadline):  (A) Past SDGA individual champions since 2000; (B) Low 40 finishers from 2017 Mid-Amateur Championship; (C) Through an 18-hole qualifying round  from the remaining pool of entrants held June 1 at Fox Run GC if the number of entrants exceeds 144.  If the total number of entries does not exceed 144, no qualifying round will be held. This Championship is pre-flighted and flights will be determined by handicap index. Overall champion will be lowest 36-hole score regardless of flight.
