FORMAT: WAGR Event | 54 Holes Strokeplay (Day 1: 36 Holes, Day 2: 18 Holes)

FIELD SIZE: 78, cut to top 35 & ties after round 2

Draw sheet for rounds 1 & 2 will be emailed on Tuesday 7th July

 

ENTRY NOTES: ALL ENTRIES are taken through this page - new players (i.e. players who have not played the Tillman or Peter Alliss Trophies before) should first create their account and then register for the event. Creating a profile enables you to enter any 'Elite Amateur Pathway Series' event in the future, without the need to re-enter your details every time.

 

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: practice round on official practice day, tournament fee, range balls, bespoke tournament edition yardage book, lunch on day 1 between rounds.

 

TOURNAMENT INCENTIVES:

 

The 2026 Peter Alliss Trophy Champion will earn a HOTEL PLANNER TOUR (Challenge Tour) Start in 2027

 

The Top 4 finishers will earn a FULLY EXEMPT CARD for the 2027 Tier 1 Clutch Pro Tour Schedule. Players may choose to compete as an amateur on the tour, or turn pro. The exemption means access to every Clutch Tier 1 event, without the need to earn a card via the Clutch 2026 qualifying school.

Note: For players winning these incentives, they will be eligible to take them as an amateur, or as a pro if they are turning pro in 2026/7.

 

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Entries will be accepted from male amateur golfers with a handicap index of SCRATCH (0.4) or below. In the event entries are over-subscribed, the following entry criteria will apply:

 

Note: We will primarily base the entries on WAGR ranking, and then handicap

 

1. WAGR Ranking

2. WHS Index & previous tournament results

3. Successful players from qualifying events (please see below for qualifiier info)

 

Any entry not gaining direct access into the main tournament will be automatically transferred to one of the qualifiers.

 

FULL PETER ALLISS EVENT ITINERARY:

Wednesday 8th July - Official Practice Rounds - booking details below

Thursday 9th July - Rounds 1 & 2 (36 holes on the same day)

Friday 10th July - Round 3, final round for the top 35 and ties

 

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND - Wed 8th JULY: CLICK HERE to book your practice round (this is works from 6pm Friday 3rd July) Players must pre-book a practice round for this event, online via this page. When you click this link, you first need to 'register' for practice and then select your chosen time. Individuals can add up to 3 other players to their group.

 

CLUB FACILITIES:

- Grass Range with complimentary golf balls throughout the week (Range limited to Irons Only)

- Warm-up nets available next to the putting greens for woods/drivers

- 3x Putting Greens near clubhouse & Large Short Game Area near range

 

CATERING: Available on-site throughout the week from 8am on Wednesday and 7am Thursday/Friday. Complimentary lunch between rounds on day 1 for all players

 

ACCOMMODATION:

 

CADDIES: No restrictions on who can caddy (e.g coach, pro, parent, etc all ok to Caddy). On the final day, players who miss the cut can caddy.

QUALIFYING EVENTS

 

Castle Royle Tuesday 7th July from 11am

Burnham Beeches Wed 8th July from 12pm

 

Entry fee for qualifying is £115. Successful qualifiers pay the additional £50 to make up the full entry fee. 

 

There are a minimum of 8 spots available (in total) through qualifiers, plus 2 reserve spots. The number of spots allocated to each venue will be based on the number of players playing.
