Welcome to Le Portage Golf Club’s Men’s League 2026!

Next Men's League Night will be on Tuesday, July 07, 2026.

Following recent feedback, league play is being restructured to better reflect the preferences of the majority.

Players will now compete within their selected tee group only.

For example, players competing from the Gold tees will only be competing against others playing from the same tees.

Each tee will feature two handicap divisions: Flight A and Flight B.

Skins will be awarded within each flight, and net skins will no longer be included.

In addition, a weekly Quota Game will be introduced for each tee.

Players will earn points based on performance on designated holes, with the highest point total earning a prize.

The selected holes and point values will change weekly, providing a fresh and inclusive opportunity for all participants to win.

We will no longer require players to maintain a balance on account for league participation, though this option will remain available for those who prefer it.

Groups may still reserve a consistent weekly tee time for the full season. However, it is expected that any changes or cancellations are communicated to the Professional Shop in advance. Failure to provide notice may result in the loss of the reserved time under a “three strikes” policy.

League tee times will continue to be blocked every Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. and we will continue to alternate between the front and back nine.

Groups may also choose to play between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, provided there are at least three league participants. Please note that these earlier times will not be reserved exclusively for league play and may be booked by public players.

Groups wishing to secure a recurring time in this window may do so, with the understanding that certain course events may occasionally take precedence.

$10 entry fee will cover the following prize pools:

Flighted Skins Game, gross skins only.

Low Net by Tee, players will receive 80% of their current Golf Canada handicap index.

Low Gross by Tee

On Course Contest by Tee

Random Quota Game by Tee

Random Draw (Cash Prize)

Double Nights (x3) and Closing Tournament League pot.

Molson Coors is no longer an official sponsor but the double nights will remain the same,

double prizing, 1 free drink, extra on course contests.

There are 20 League nights between Tuesday, May 12, 2026 - Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

There will be no league play on September 15th due to Golf Nova Scotia's Senior Men's Fourball

practice round and set-up.

The closing tournament will be on Sunday, September 20th, 2026. The cost will be $25 minus $1 for every league night attended by the participant.

Only Paid members and punch card holders can play to win in the league and closing tournament*.

(*If a league team is short a player or players and wishes to invite a nonleague player or players to fill the foursome they may do so. Green fees and meal cost will be charged, and nonleague players will not be eligible for prizing)
