AGES/ELIGIBILITY Open to male amateur golfers ages 55 and over as of September 25, 2019. |

ENTRIES OPEN – CLOSE July 24th – September 11th |

FIELD SIZE The low 144 players by handicap index will comprise the field. The handicap revision in effect at the close of entries will be used to determine the field. |

FORMAT 54 holes of individual stroke play. After 36 holes of play, the field will be cut to the low 70 players and ties. |
|
PRACTICE ROUND One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Cherokee T & CC to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation after September 12th. Practice round cart and range fee is $25 plus tax. CASH ONLY will be accepted.

YARDAGES & TEES A combination of tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the championship. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. Practice yardages are available on the portal under the PLAYER INFORMATION tab. |

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. on the days of competition. |

STARTING TIMES Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on September 19. |

REGISTRATION No formal registration will be held on site. Player withdraws must be called in to (678) 324-5969 or e-mailed to JFAGES@GSGA.ORG so that an alternate may be contacted. |

CARTS Practice round cart and range fees are $25 plus tax. CASH ONLY will be accepted. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the championship entry fee. |

FOOD SERVICE Food service will be available in the clubhouse and at the snack bar. Credit cards and club reciporcal charges are permitted as forms of payment. |

REFUND POLICY A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling the GSGA Rules and Competitions Department at (770) 955-4272 or (800) 949-4742 or via email. |
