AGES/ ELIGIBILITY

 Open to two-man teams of male amateur golfers ages 55 or older as of November 13 and who have a maximum handicap differential of six strokes.

$460 (per team)

FIELD SIZE

The 48 teams with the lowest combined USGA Handicap Indexes compete in the Championship flight; the remaining 24 teams for Senior flights are determined by lottery, up to four spots reserved for the previous year’s flight winners.

FORMAT

54 holes of flighted, four-ball stroke play.  Championship flight will compete at Sea Palms Golf Club and remaining Senior flights will compete at the King and Prince GC.

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call King and Prince GC OR Sea Palms Resort to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation on October 12.  Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

• Monday – Thursday, anytime based on availability
• Friday – Sunday, after 1:00 p.m., based on availability.

YARDAGES & TEES

Yardages will be posted online and at the host club.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 6:30 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on November 9.  

REGISTRATION

No formal registration will be held on site. Player/team withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted.

CARTS

Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available in the public house restaurant.

PRIZES

Gift certificates will be awarded to the low top 3 teams in all flights.

REFUND POLICY

A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling the GSGA Rules and Competitions Department at (770) 955-4272 or (800) 949-4742 or via email.
