CONDITIONS OF PLAY:  The tournament will be played under the rules of golf approved by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited and by the by-laws of the Ekurhuleni golf Union Committee.   

 

FORMAT OF COMPETISION: The competition will be played over 18 holes Strokeplay.

Member - R300 per player (includes green fees and halfway)  

Non-Member - R450 per player (includes green fees and halfway)  

 

 

DRAW AND STARTING: The draw will be conducted by the Ekurhuleni Golf Union. Any competitor who is absent from the tee when called upon to start will be liable to disqualification or penalty under Rule 5.3.    

 

DECISIONS: Decisions and disputes of any kind will be dealt with by the tournament committee and their ruling will be final.   

 

MOTORISED CARTS: No motorised carts will be allowed.   

 

CADDIES: A & B Division no caddies allowed, C Division players caddies are allowed.

 

PRIZE GIVING: There will be a prize giving after the 18 holes tournament. If you have to leave please excuse yourself with an official from the tournament.   

 

TIES: In the event on a tie for the championship, a playoff will be held over a certain number of holes decided by the Tournament Committee.   

 

Your ONLINE ENTRY will only be moved from Waiting List to
Participation list once payment has been made. Once the draw has been completed,
should a player withdraw for any reason whatsoever, the player will be liable for the entry fee.
