Welcome to the Squamish Men's Amateur 2026

Registration

Players must register at the Club entrance on the Pro Shop side by the ball machine.

  • Morning draw registration begins at 6:00am
  • Afternoon draw registration begins at 10:15am

 

If you did not purchase entry into the Skins Competition when registering, you may still enter at check-in.

  • Skins Entry: $40 (Cash Only)

 

At registration, players will receive:

  • Tournament tee gift
  • Meal vouchers
  • Two Phillips (Non alcoholic available) beer tickets

 

Beer tickets may be redeemed at:

  • The 10th Tee Birdie Cabin
  • The Restaurant

50/50 Draw

50/50 tickets will be available for purchase (ends Saturday evening):

  • At registration
  • On the patio
  • Near the practice green

 

The draw will take place mid-morning on Sunday.

Please bring cash for ticket purchases.

All proceeds will be donated to the Sea to Sky Hospice Society.

Tournament Flights

The tournament will feature two flights, each with:

  • Gross Competition
  • Net Competition

 

Prizing will be distributed equally between the two flights.

The flights are named in honour of two past Squamish Valley Golf Club Life Members:

  • Dan Rourke Flight 
  • Bill Galley Flight 

 

Overall tournament honours will be awarded for:

  • Lowest Gross Score
  • Lowest Net Score

Driving Range

Complimentary range balls will be available on the practice range throughout the tournament.

Tee Times

Players are responsible for arriving on time for their assigned tee time.

The starter will distribute scorecards on the tee.

Players are encouraged to arrive early enough to observe the group ahead tee off.

Players will not be announced to the tee.

Golf Genius Live Scoring will be used throughout the event. Please download the Golf Genius app before arriving.

Travel Advisory

Weekend traffic between Squamish and Whistler can be heavy.

Please allow extra travel time to ensure you arrive before your tee time.

Sunday Draw

A complete redraw will be completed for Sunday based on Saturday Gross Scores.

The draw will be:

  • Emailed to competitors
  • Posted on the tournament website

 

Please be patient while scores are finalized.

 

As the tournament is fully subscribed, the final groups may not finish until approximately 6:30pm Saturday evening. The Sunday draw is expected to be available by approximately 8:30pm–9:00pm Saturday evening.

Completion of Round

At the completion of your round:

  1. Compare scores with your marker.
  2. Sign the scorecard.
  3. Submit the scorecard to the SVGC volunteers at the tournament tent beside the 9th and 18th Greens.

Players are not required to total their scores.

Please ensure scorecards are neat and legible.

If a correction is required:

  • Cross out the incorrect score
  • Clearly write the correct score beneath it

Saturday Putting Competition

A putting competition will be held on the practice green:

  • Saturday
  • 2:00pm – 7:00pm

 

Eligible participants:

  • Competitors
  • Caddies
  • Guests

 

Entry Fee:

  • $10 per attempt

Putting Competition Prizes

Thanks to the generous support of local sponsors, the putting competition will feature prizes with a combined value exceeding $7,500.

 

**Multiple entries are permitted but eligible to win only one prize**

 

All proceeds from the putting competition will be donated to the Sea to Sky Hospice Society.

Presentation Ceremony

Following completion of the tournament and scoring, a presentation ceremony will be held to recognize:

  • KP Winners
  • Gross Winners in each flight
  • Net Winners in each flight
  • Overall Tournament Champions

 

All prizes will be issued through the Pro Shop Credit Book for future purchases and special orders.
