Scramble League S3 2026

Monday, June 22, 2026 - Monday, July 27, 2026 @ 6pm

Cost:

  • $50/team (contributes to end-of-session purse)

Format: 2-Person Scramble

  • In a scramble, each team member tees off on every hole. After teeing off, the team selects the best tee shot and marks that spot with a tee or ball marker.
  • The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Each player then hits their next shot from this chosen location.
  • If the selected ball is in a hazard (sand, water, etc.), the rough, or out of bounds, you cannot drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough, even if relief is within one club length.
  • This procedure applies to every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. The ball should also be marked on the putting green.
  • Putts must be taken within 3-inches or putter head length of the marked spot (no closer to the hole).
  • Players may choose to give putts within a 3-foot or standard putter's length, but it is not required.

Tees:

  • Ladies: Red Tees
  • Ladies 60+: Front of Red Tee Box
  • Gentlemen: White Tees
  • Gentlemen 55-64: Green Tees
  • Gentlemen 65+: Gold Tees
  • You can move back tees but not forward (ex. a 58 y/o can play the white tees if they so choose but not the gold)

Teams:

  • For every 4-6 teams, there will be a flight based on the cumulative handicap.
  • You are STRONGLY encouraged to establish and maintain a GHIN handicap to keep the flighting fair for all competitors.

Missing Players, Subs & Make-ups

  • If a team misses the match completely, they will receive 0 total points and their opponent will receive 7 total points.

  • If teams agree to make up a match, they may do so. The match must be made up on an agreed upon time before the sessions final match.
    • Regular daily fees apply to make-ups.

    • If you elect to take a shot from a penalty area (native), you remain in that area until you successfully hit the ball out. At that point, there is no longer any reference to where your previous shot crossed the hazard under rule 17.1d.
    • Take your relief on your first shot!!
