Welcome to Nairn Dunbar and our 3 Ladies’ Team Open which, at the time of writing, its almost fully booked. Fingers crossed for some favourable weather that allows us to showcase our wonderful links course to both new and returning players.
The clubhouse and visitor locker rooms will be open from 7am and catering will be available from 9am until the last group has completed its round. As part of the entry fee, visitors will be given a £5 voucher to redeem against food and drink in the clubhouse on the day of the competition. On the course, between the 11th and 12th holes, Charlie’s Hut will be open selling a small selection of sweet and savoury snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Vouchers are not valid at Charlie’s hut, card payments can be made.
The practice range and bunker are available for use; please bring your own balls and note that the location is more conveniently accessed from a public car park on the approach to the holiday park on the north side of the course (Location on Google Maps). The practice putting green is situated beside the clubhouse where short chips can also be practiced onto the green from the grass in the vicinity of the full height flag. Finally, there are two warm-up bays next to the 1st tee.
The player list, tee sheet, prize details and clubhouse menu will be available via the tabs at the top of this page. Results will also be posted here as they become available.
This year we will be playing a Better Ball format with a twist! For holes 1-6, one best net score will count; holes 7-12, two best net scores and holes 13-18, all 3 net scores. Playing handicaps will be 85% of course handicaps on the day. Don’t worry too much about handicap allowances, just record your gross scores on the card and the computer will sort everything out when you get back to the clubhouse.
Upon arrival, please collect your scorecard and catering voucher from the competition hub in the clubhouse entrance foyer. Upon completion of your round, please return scorecards to the competition hub where we will input the scores for you. You will be able to follow leaderboard developments online via the event portal or on the TV in the clubhouse lounge.
Vouchers for winners and runners up in each of the categories will be presented in the clubhouse when the final group has completed their round, anyone unable to attend will have theirs posted to them.
