Welcome to the 2026 Club Championship at Parry Sound Golf & Country Club. This is a 36-hole stroke play tournament played over 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday, with competitors divided into men’s and ladies’ divisions.

 

The entry fee is $25.00. The deadline for entries is 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 5th. Members can register to play in the Pro Shop during business hours, or online via the Club website. The Saturday tee times and groupings will be sent by email on Thursday, July 9^th, and posted on our website.

 

The tournament is played from tee times at 10-minute intervals beginning at 8:00 am both days. In each division, players will compete in flights determined by the results of the first round and the number of entries. Players may request groupings and/or tee times for Round 1. Groupings and tee times for Round 2 on Sunday are determined by staff based on player flights and standings.

 

Ladies play from the red tees. Men play from the white tees for Round 1. For Round 2, men’s A & B flights play from the blue tees, other men’s flights from the white tees. Only those men’s division competitors who play from the blue tees for Round 2 are eligible to win the men’s championship title. Before teeing off on the second day, a competitor may request assignment to a higher flight in order to compete for the overall championship.

 

The 2026 Club Champions will be the one eligible man and the one woman who score the lowest 36-hole gross score in their respective divisions.

 

The following will be the order of tee times for Sunday:

 

1. Men’s E Flight (if applicable)

2. Men’s D Flight (if applicable)

3. Ladies' D Flight (if applicable)

4. Men’s C Flight

5. Ladies' C Flight (if applicable)

6. Men’s B Flight

7. Ladies' B Flight

8. Men’s A Flight

9. Ladies' A Flight

 

If there is a tie for the overall men’s or ladies’ championship at the end of regular play, there will be sudden-death playoff. Playoff holes will be determined by the Head Professional. All other ties will be broken by score analysis.

 

There will be a few prizes in the form of pro shop vouchers allocated to each flight. We thank our sponsors – Triple Bogey, Crofters Organic, and Kawartha Financial Services. There will also be an optional daily skins competition in each division, for which the entry fee is $20.00 covering both rounds.

 

No food is included for this event, so please feel free to order something from our menu if you wish.

 

Please hand in your signed scorecard immediately following your round. Verify with your playing partner after each hole is completed that your scores are correct.

 

After the last groups are in and all scores have been verified there will be a small prize-giving ceremony on Sunday afternoon for the A and B flights. Other flight prizes will be distributed as each flight completes play. The Club Championship trophies will not be presented on the day. There is a special Gala Night scheduled for Friday September 18th 2026 at 5:30pm which will include the presentation of trophies and a meal.
