1. Venue:

2. Format & Conditions of Entry
All members of the Sunshine Legends Tour in good standing are eligible to enter.
The Fidelity event will be played in accordance with the rules and regulations as set out by the R&A, in a 36-hole stroke play event for SA Sunshine Legends Tour member professionals, who are 50 years of age or older on 13th August 2026, with 18 holes being played on each of the days of, 13th August and 14th August 2026 respectively. It is a Sunshine Legends Tour branded Order of Merit tournament.
The field size will be open to all SLT professional members in good standing, together with an Amateur partner.
The Sunshine Legends Tour does not guarantee amateur entrants for professionals.
The Pro-Am will be held on Thursday from 10:00am. There will be a cut to the top 30 professionals & ties after the first round. Professionals who make the cut of play on Friday morning from 08:00am (times to be confirmed).
Only those professionals who complete the 36 holes, will be eligible for a share of the minimum prize fund of R250,000
3. Conditions, Exemptions and Pre-Q for Entry into the Starting Draw
- All professionals who enter must check their exemption status on the SA Sunshine Legends Tour Website www.sunshinelegendstour.com or through the Tournament Director (TD), Pat Lowth (082 490 4027). Entries must be made by completing the official entry form: https://forms.gle/KePD1CT21mErDrn49 by the closing date.
This is a standard field size Pro-Am
4. Practice Day and Practice Facilities
There is no official practice day at Jackal Creek, and the club is normally closed on Mondays. Players must book practice times through the Club at a green fee cost for the players’ account.
5. Registration
All senior professional competitors are required to register with the Sunshine Legends Tour by 16.00 on Tuesday, 11th August 2026. This may be done by telephone/WhatsApp/email to the Sunshine Legends Tour Tournament Director on 082 490 4027 or by email: td@seniortour.co.za
6. Entry Fee, Withdrawals and Refunds
- Entry Fees: All Professionals & Amateurs R900.00 per player. Professionals MUST enter with an Amateur partner. Entrants’ must comply with the terms and conditions of entry above. (Please quote your name as reference for your payment). Bank details are:

Payment in full is to be made by 12:00hrs on 30th July 2026. - A proof of payment is to be emailed to entries@sunshinelegendstour.com as soon as the entry fee has been paid.
If no payment is received on time, the player will automatically be removed from the tournament. No exceptions will be made.
- Entries close – 30th July 2026 at 12:00hrs
- Withdrawals in writing by email or WhatsApp, BEFORE 12:00 hours on 30th July 2026, a full refund will be possible.
- Once an entry and payment has been accepted, applicants will be sent an email confirmation of entry.
- Entrants who withdraw after the closing date for entries will be liable for their entry fee for this event and will not be allowed to enter subsequent tournaments until this fee has been paid.
- All withdrawals must notify the Sunshine Legends Tour entries department (email: entries@sunshinelegendstour.com): or WhatsApp cell no: 082 490 4027.
- If a player is absent on the tee without notification, NO Refund will be given and a fine may be imposed. The Tournament Committee will decide on refunds from withdrawals after the closing date for entries on medical and compassionate grounds only.
- Once an entrant has teed off, refund of entry is not possible under any circumstances.
- If a professional entrant is late on the tee, when called upon to start, in the first round of the event, the player shall be disqualified after an absence of 5 minutes. The R&A rule 5 will apply for duration of the tournament.
7. Catering
A Grab & Go snack and soft drink will be available to all players during the Pro-Am after 9 holes in the round without causing undue delay
8. Caddies, Motorised Carts, Trolleys
There are caddies available at the Club during the event. You may also bring your own caddie, who will have to be registered for the tournament.
Those competitors requiring a cart should make their own arrangements with the club.
Further, players and visitors entering the estate will require ID presentation at the security entrances. No caddies are permitted in the clubhouse at any time during the tournament, unless permission is granted, as per the Golf Club rules.
If required, all tee time groups will only be allowed two carts per group in the Pro-Am. Therefore, sharing may be necessary, and it is the players’ responsibility to organise his own cart booking and usage.
Players may elect to walk and play using their own trollies.
There will be no motorised transport to ferry players (those walking) from greens to tee areas where there ‘long distances’ are involved.
9. SA Sunshine Legends Tour Rules and Regulations/Additional Local Rules
All SA Sunshine Legends Tour rules, terms and conditions apply. A full list of the event Rules and Regulations and Additional Local Rules will be available on the venue notice boards, as well as from the starters on the 1st & 10th tees. Competitors are specifically asked to note:
a) One ball rule is applicable for senior professional competitors only.
b) Prohibitions on practice putting for senior professionals only.
c) Play suspensions in a dangerous situation requires an immediate stop in play by all players.
d) Pace of play – please refer to your SLT “Hard Card’.
In the event of any weather delays the results of the tournament will be decided by
the TD.
10. SA Sunshine Legends Tour/Golf RSA Staff/Tee-Time Draws
There is SA Sunshine Legends Tour staff and office bearers on the Event Committee. (Pat Lowth, Other TBA)
Pat Lowth is the Tournament Director and his decision on event matters will
be final.
The draw for the Pro-Am will be made available on the website and at the
Club notice board from 6pm on 10th August 2026. A WhatsApp message will also be sent to all competitors advising of their first and second round draws.
11. Play Off and Completion of the Event
In the event of a tie for first place for the Fidelity event, the players’ will be required to play in a sudden death format until a winner is established. Hole:18 will be used and repeated, if necessary, until a winner is apparent.
Winners in the event of a tie(s) for the Team Pro-Am section will be decided by
a count out/count in;
- Best last 9 holes (holes 10-18)
- Then best last 6 holes (13-18)
- Then best last 3 holes (16-18)
- Odd holes 1-18, 9-18, last 3(one of these)
- In another way by the TD if the above remains unsolved
The Fidelity event will be considered closed by the TD when all scores are
recorded and a winner has been established. A minimum of 18 holes’ is
required to determine a winner in the senior professional section.
If the Pro-Am day is not completed, the TD will decide on further procedures and details after consultation with the event committee as to the prize giving allocation.
12. Prize giving
Prize giving for the Fidelity Pro-Am on 13th August will take place as soon as
possible after the completion of the event inside the Jackal Creek clubhouse.
It is the professional’s duty to support the sponsors at these events and all formalities.
There is compulsory attendance required by the senior professionals placed 1st to 5th in the Tournament as well as the Top 5 in the Pro-Am prize giving. Violation: R500.00 fine for any prize winner that does not attend.
The player recording the lowest score for 36 holes or the player successful in the play-off will be named the Fidelity Champion – Jackal Creek for 2026.
In the event of a tie(s) for the amateur Pro-Am prizes, these will be done by scorecard count outs as decided in point 11 above by the TD.
13. Pro-Am Event
- This will take place on 13th August 2026.
- Senior professionals will team up with their amateur partner in teams of two and play in Four Balls.
- The team competition is a Better Ball Stableford, where the senior professional competitors play off a scratch handicap, and their amateur partners (male or female) off their official club handicaps (maximum 24), adjusted to the Jackal Creek handicap differential list. The Better Ball score must be recorded on each hole. Ladies may play from the forward tees as per the golf course design and their scorecard stroking. All amateurs without an official handicap, who enter, will play off a maximum handicap index of 6.
- The senior professional competitors must record their gross score on each hole played.
- Prize Giving: Team prizes to 5th place plus closest to the pin on all short holes and a longest drive, for amateurs only.
- Table snacks will be available at prize giving for all Pro-Am participants on 13th August 2026, Dress smart casual.
