Format of Tournament

The field will be divided into flights based upon the combined handicap index of the two team members. There will be six teams per flight with each team playing every other team within that flight in a 9 hole match, or five matches total. Scoring for the matches within each flight will be based on a 4-Ball Net Match Play. Points for each match are calculated as follows:
• +1 point for winning a hole
• ½ point for halving a hole
• (9 points total per match)
All matches are to play a full 9 holes. The aggregate point total of the five matches played in regulation will determine the flight winners. The low handicap player in the foursome will play at a scratch and give the difference in 9-hole course handicap to the other players (Rounded up). Each team will post a score for each 9-hole match.

TIEBREAKERS
Two teams tied for Flight Winners will be decided by the following:
• 1st tiebreaker: Head-to-head match during tournament
• 2nd tiebreaker: Most points against 3rd place team
• 3rd tiebreaker: Most points against 4th place team
• 4th tiebreaker: Most points against 5th place team
• 5th tiebreaker: Most points against 6th place team
• 6th tiebreaker: Chip off on Creek #9
The Champions will be the two-man team that wins the “Shoot-Out”. The “Shoot-Out” will be comprised of the flight winners as well as the top 2 teams in the Death Flight. In case of a tie for the overall Shoot-Out winner, the two teams will re-play Creek #1.

2026 DEATH FLIGHT
Upon completion of the 3rd 9-hole match, the 2 teams with the lowest point totals in each flight will make up the 2026 “Death Flight.” Death Flight teams will play their last two matches within their original flights as scheduled. The 2 Death Flight teams that earn the most combined points in those matches will advance to the Shoot-Out. If more than two teams are tied for the low point totals in their flight after their 3rd match, the first tie breaker will be head to head (winner stays in flight). If still tied, the lowest combined handicap index will stay in their original flight. If still tied, the team that has the lowest individual handicap player will stay in the original flight.
In case of a tie for the top 2 teams in the Death Flight based on points, the teams will chip-off on Creek #9 and the winner will advance.
*Note: Death Flight teams are still eligible to win their original flight.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The 12 flight winners and top 2 death flight teams will compete in the Shoot-Out on Creek following the completion of the final round. Teams will start in two separate groups. The first group will be the odd numbered flight winners and 1st place team in the death flight. The second group will consist of the even numbered flight winners and the 2nd place team in the death flight.

THE SHOOT-OUT
All shootout participants will meet at the Clubhouse Lawn to discuss the rules of the Shootout on Creek.
