Tournament Information

 

Format:

54-hole individual stroke play

Please note that this event is strictly walking only with no cut line in place

 

Tee Times:

Rolling tee times from the 1st Tee

8:10AM - 12:20PM daily

Day 1 order of play is dictated by Handicap Index

Days 2 and 3 order of play is dictated by aggregate scoring

 

Tees:

Male Competitors: Composite Tees

Female Competitors: Forward Tees

 

Field: 72 Amateurs, Aged 12 to 18 years, female & male division (minimum of 12 females in the female category & 40 males in the male category to qualify for World Amateur golf ranking (WAGR) points in each gender division)


 

Eligibility & Entry: 

Competitors must hold a valid and approved golf handicap.

Be an active member of a recognised National Golf Federation or affiliated golf club.

A handicap ballot will take place if entries exceed the maximum field of 72 players. All entries will be confirmed after the entry closing date of 4 October.

 

Sanctioning: Sanctioned by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) and conducted in accordance with the Local Rules of the host federation.

World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) Points

Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) Order of Merit Points

 

Entry Fees:

Jumeirah Golf Estates Member - AED 440

Viya Club Member - AED 1,740

Emirates Golf Federation Member - AED 2,400

Visitor - AED 2,890

 

Entry Fee Includes:

Three competition rounds on the Earth course

AJGA Tournament Guidelines

The championship will be conducted in accordance with AJGA standards:

54-hole individual stroke play

Gross scoring, no cut

Walking only (no carts)

Parents are not permitted to caddie

Open to boys and girls aged 12–18 years


Minimum Field Requirements

Girls (12–18 years): Minimum of 12 players competing over a course measuring at least 5,600 yards

Boys (12–18 years): Minimum of 40 players competing over a course measuring at least 6,600 yards
