FORMAT: Two 18 hole rounds of Stroke Play.
Handicap index as of October 1, 2019.
PLEASE NOTE: PWGA will be utilizing Rule 21.2, Maximum Score for the 2019 Helen Lengfeld Memorial Tournament. PWGA has determined using a Maximum Score has improved pace of play. PWGA will continue to evaluate the use of a Maximum Score in it's stroke play tournaments. The following will be in the Local Rules for this tournament:
MAXIMUM SCORE: The maximum allowable score for a hole is 10. A player will get only the maximum score (10) even if the actual score exceeds the maximum. A player who does not hole out gets the maximum score for the hole. Players are encouraged to stop playing a hole when they've reached the maximum score. Players who take a maximum score are not disqualified and will still remain in the tournament. Rule 21.2
CHECK IN TIMES: 7:30 a.m. both days.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE: 8:30 a.m. shotgun start both days.
PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION:
Pacific Grove - Call for tee times. Mention PWGA
Monterey Pines - Call for tee times. Mention PWGA
CADDIES/SPECTATORS: Caddies are not permitted. Spectators are not permitted.
ATTIRE: Soft spikes. No tank tops, cut offs or denim. See PWGA Dress Code. Pace of Play: Pace of Play will be on scorecards and will be enforced.
PRACTICE FACILITY: Practice facilities and range balls included. Practice facilities at both courses use mats.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE:
Pacific Grove - Dining facility opens at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served. No water on the course. There is water available in the restaurant. Be sure to bring
water bottles.
BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOURNAMENT FEE.
Monterey Pines - Dining Facility opens at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served. No water on the course. Be sure to bring your water bottles.

PAIRINGS: Will be posted October 4th by 5:00 p.m.

SOCIAL HOUR: We will be having a No Host social hour at the Hilton Garden Inn in Monterey on October 7th at 5:30pm. We will be poolside, so feel free to bring your own drinks. PLEASE NO GLASS! We will have some fun Raffle prizes. All you have to do is show up and have some fun to be entered in the Raffle. Please feel free to drop by, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the PWGA Hard Card, Tournament Policies and the Pace of Play Policy. You, the player, are responsible for knowing this information. Local Rules will be provided at the tournament.
AWARDS AND BANQUET: Lunch and Special PWGA Celebration and Tournament awards will follow the second round at Wedgeweood Banquet Center
