Tournament Format

 

Stroke Play Division:

  • Individual 18-hole stroke play.
  • Guaranteed $3,000+ payout.
  • In compliance with USGA Amateur status rules, an Amateur winner will receive a $1,000 payout

 

Best Ball Division:

  • Two-person team competition.
  • You are not required to have a partner to sign up for the events
  • Players without a partner will be teamed up with other single players to form a team.
  • Limited to approximately 52–54 players (26–27 teams).
  • Teams will be flighted based on their combined handicap.
  • No handicap strokes will be given once flights are established.
  • Guaranteed $1,000+ payout for each amateur flight.

If you'd like to register sooner and receive member pricing, simply email info@thesmokygolf.com , and we'll add your name to the member roster as quickly as possible so you can begin receiving your member benefits.

 

Pairings & Tournament Day

 

  • Starting times and pairings will be released the day before each event.
  • Each host club will have a registration area where players can check in and buy into optional cash games, including skins and other side games.
  • Please bring cash or have an active Venmo account if you would like to participate.
  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase following play.
  • Following each event, members are invited to an informal networking gathering and complimentary use of the Ace & Eagle Simulator Lounge.

 

Cash Games

 

Optional cash games may include:

  • Individual Skins
  • Team Skins
  • Side Games
  • Other optional cash competitions

 

Cash game registration will be available on-site at the tournament registration area.

 

Weather Policy

 

Some tournaments will have designated rain dates.

If an event cannot be completed due to weather, participants will receive a credit toward a future Smoky Mountain Golf Tour event.
