Format:
36 hole four-ball stroke play, 18 holes per day. Play will be from the RED NCGA tee markers at (see yardage sheet). There will be a play-off to determine first place immediately following the conclusion of play. If a play-off cannot be conducted (decision of the Committee and golf course) the USGA method of matching cards will be used. Ties for second or third place will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards for medals only.
Championship Schedule:
Monday, October 7 – 7:30AM off tees #1 and #10.
Tuesday, October 8 – 7:30AM off tees #1 and #10.
Second round starting times will be posted on the NCGA website following the conclusion of first round. Players will be repaired by Round 1 score.
Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their starting time.
Substitutions:
Substitutions must be made by 5:00PM Friday, October 4, 2019.
Practice Round Information:
Contact the Poppy Hills Golf Shop at (831) 622-8239 to schedule a practice round. NCGA member green fees are $85 Monday-Thursday and $115 Friday-Sunday. Cart fee is $25 per rider. Range balls are included in this fee.
Automotive Transportation:
Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. Cart rental is $25 per player. A maximum of two carts per group is
permitted. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED. The NCGA is committed to providing golfers with disabilities as much course access as the conditions allow. Please contact the host Head Professional to make requests for access at least one week prior to the event.
Practice Balls:
The Golf Shop will be open at 6:00AM. The driving range will open at sunrise. Practice balls are included prior to your round. If you wish to hit range balls following your round they are $5 (30 balls), $8 (60 balls), and $10 (90 balls).
Payment Information:
Cash and credit cards payments accepted for all purchases (golf shop and food and beverage).
Food and Beverage Information:
Porter’s Restaurant will be open at 6:00AM. No outside food and beverage allowed. To avoid losing position and penalty for slow play/undue delay, during their rounds all players are advised to order ready-made food at the grill.
Additional Information:
Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Regulations and Policies, Hard Card, and Pace of Play Policy. It is the player’s responsibility to know the above information.
