On Arrival and During Play – Junior Player Procedure

 

Prepare for the Day

We've put together a short guide to help players get ready for the tournament on our Preparation Guide

 

On the Day

All players must:

 

• Check in with SchoolsGolf staff on arrival.
• Collect their scorecard and confirm their handicap.
• Activate and log in to the Golf Genius scoring app using the GGID code relating to their tee time.
• Identify their playing partners and starting tee.
• Be at the tee area in good time before their start.
• Maintain an appropriate pace of play throughout the round.

 

After Play

 

• Agree hole-by-hole scores with playing partners.
• Cross-check that the scorecard and Golf Genius app entries match.
• Sign the scorecard (and ensure it is countersigned where required).
• Return the completed scorecards promptly to SchoolsGolf staff.

 

Conduct

• Ensure they are dressed correctly when inside the clubhouse and on the course in accordance with the Club's dress code, with particular attention to appropriate footwear.
• Junior players are expected to show courtesy and respect to fellow competitors, club members, staff, and visitors at all times, both on the course and in the clubhouse.
