Format:
54 hole four-ball stroke play, 18 holes per day. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 40 teams and ties. Play will
be from the BLUE NCGA tee markers at (see yardage sheet). There will be a play-off to determine first place immediately following the conclusion of play. If a play-off cannot be conducted (decision of the Committee and golf course) the USGA method of matching cards will be used. Ties for second or third place will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards for medals only.
Championship Schedule:
Friday and Saturday – Double wave from tees #1 and #10. Morning wave starts at 7:00AM and the afternoon wave starts at 12:00PM.
Sunday – 7:30AM off tees #1 and #10.
Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their tee time.
Practice Round Information:
Spyglass Hill – Contact Golf Central at 800-654-9300 or the Pro Shop at 831-625-8563 to schedule a practice round. Regular green fee rates are $395, twilight (after 4:30PM in May) $225 walking. NCGA does not administer Spyglass Hill GC.
Automotive Transportation:
Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. Fee - $90 per cart. A maximum of two carts per group is permitted. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED. Golf carts are restricted to cart paths at all times. The NCGA is committed to providing golfers with disabilities as much course access as the conditions allow. Please contact the host Head Professional to make requests for access at least one week prior to the event.
Caddies:
Caddies are available on a limited basis and may be reserved by calling the Caddie Master at 831-622-6162.
Practice Balls:
Pro shop and driving range will open at 6:00AM. Practice balls are included prior to your round. If you wish to hit range balls following your round they are $10 per bucket.
Payment:
Cash and credit payments accepted.
Food and Beverage:
Spyglass Hill Grill opens at 6:00AM. To avoid losing position and penalty for slow play/undue delay, during their stipulated rounds all players are advised to order ready-made food at the grill.
Additional Information:
Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Regulations and Policies, Hard Card, and Pace of Play Policy. It is the player’s responsibility to know the above information.
