Registration is now open for the 2026 Dodson Memorial Tournament, sponsored once again by Core & Main! A huge thank you to Core & Main for their continued support and generous contribution to this event.

 

Tournament Details

• Sunday, September 6th
• 9:00 AM Shotgun Start
• $70 Entry Fee – includes food after the round
• 9-Hole Eclectic Format
• Net to Par
• 85% Handicap
• Ladies – Red Tees
• All Other Players – Blue Tees

How the Eclectic Format Works

You will play the same nine holes twice.

On your first loop, you’ll play normal stroke play and establish a score on each hole.

 

On your second loop, your goal is to improve your score on each hole. If you beat your first score, the better score becomes your final eclectic score for that hole. If you don't improve it, your original score stays.

 

Example: If you make a 5 on Hole #1 the first time around and then make a 4 the second time, the 4 becomes your final score for Hole #1.

 

At the end of the round, your best score on each of the nine holes will make up your final 9-hole eclectic score.

Net to Par

This year, the tournament will be scored Net to Par, allowing the ladies to compete from the Red Tees while all other players compete from the Blue Tees.

We will use 85% of your handicap, with strokes applied by hole based on your 9-hole playing handicap. Final results will be determined by how your net eclectic score compares to par.

 

We will also have $20 Gross & Net Skins within each flight, along with Closest-to-the-Pin prizes on all three Par 3s, compliments of Core & Main.
