Golf Genius ::

The 2026-2027 Irish Post Primary Schools Competition season gets underway in September.

Important Information:-

Players may only compete at one venue.
Players must be a member of a golf club and hold a valid WHS Handicap Index at the close of entries. Each participant must provide their Golf Ireland membership number when registering. International players are permitted to enter but must provide a handicap certificate in advance.
All participants must have a golf genius account to register for the competition.
- Students may register using their own email or a parent/guardian's email.
- Teachers can submit entries for students. However, entries must be completed on an individual player basis, multiple entries cannot be accepted.
- To view entries received, click the entry link and select the Registered Players tab.
If entries are oversubscribed, a ballot will take place based on the lowest handicap index on the closing date in each category for each venue.
There is no limit to the number of students who may enter from any one school.
Entry fee is €15 which includes lunch following round of golf. The fee will be charged once a players is confirmed in the field.
Draws will be issued in 7 days advance of the competition.

Competition Categories as follows:-

Girls' Net Championship: Open to all female entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of between 15.0 and 39.9 on the date of entry.
Girls' Scratch Championship: Open to all female entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of 14.9 or below on the date of entry.
Boys' Net Championship: Open to all male entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of between 10.0 and 19.9 on the date of entry.
Boys' Scratch Championship: Open to all male entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of 9.9 or below on the date of entry
