Distance Measuring Devices: Distance measuring devices of any kind are prohibited in all U.S. Senior Open qualifiers.

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Senior Open and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie. Caddies may use a pull cart. Players may not ride in a motorized cart.

 

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

Qualifying Positions: 2

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Starting Time: 8:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10 

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be made available by 6:30 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

 

Practice Round Information: $90.00 for greens fees. Carts are $18.00. Available on a space available basis during the week and weekends after 1:00 p.m. on a space available basis.

Player Food: Player food will be the responsibility of the player. Stationary food and beverage carts wil be available during the round and a limited breakfast and lunch menu will be available for purchase.

 

Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores for all Amateur players.

 

Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.

 

One Ball Rule: Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect, except that the Exception in the Model Local Rule does not apply - Model Local Rule G-2.

 

Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round. Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification

 

Age Limit: Must be 50 on or before June 27, 2019

 

Registration Opens: Available now. Qualifying is open to professional and amateur players.

 

Registration Closes: 5:00 PM EDT May 8, 2019

 

Entry Fee: $200.00

 

Amateur Handicap Index limit: 3.4

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.
