PLAYER INFORMATION SHEET
Listed below is IMPORTANT information pertinent to the event.
“OPTIONAL” FORMAT: Individual Net. No official format will be used, but if you would like to play in the “optional” format, it will be an individual net. Individuals will play their own ball, with a max score of Gross Quintuple bogey (5 over) on each hole. The fee is $5 PER PERSON to join this “optional” event. Please pay this fee at registration. Men will play the WHITE tees, women will play the RED tees. Requests to play a different tee set are available by emailing Sam Staton (sstaton@ncga.org) by Wednesday night.
REGISTRATION: Registration will begin at 10 AM outside the pro shop. Please make sure to check-in NO LATER than 11:15 AM. You will receive your scorecard, lunch, and welcome gift at that time.
GOLF CARTS: Green Hills CC will allow the 90 degree cart rule UNLESS recent weather conditions require otherwise.
SCORING: Once your round is complete, please sign and attest your scorecards and give them to Sam near the pro shop at the same site as registration. The final results will be emailed out on Tuesday morning.
PRIZES: Gift cards will be awarded for Closest to the Hole contests on par three’s.
RULES OF PLAY: The Rules of Golf are in effect.
DRESS CODE: Players must be properly attired both on the golf course and premises of the club. Blue jeans, designer jeans, t-shirts and tank tops are prohibited. Golf shirts must be worn and shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh (no jean shorts).
FOOTWEAR: Metal Spikes are prohibited.
GOLF SHOP & PRACTICE RANGE: The Golf Shop and driving range will be open at 10:00 AM. A shuttle ride is required to get to the driving range. If you would like to hit balls, please make sure to arrive early.
FOOD SERVICE: Boxed lunches will be available for pickup prior to teeing off.
