The competition is 36 holes of stroke play with a field of 59 players. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. In the event of a tie for first place, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.
 

Note to Parents & Guardians— A parent, stepparent, or guardian may not serve as a caddie.  Spectator carts are not permitted for use during the championship.  Lunch is provided for the players only.  Spectators and caddies should plan accordingly and be prepared to pay for any food & beverage provisions. Parents, spectators and caddies who wish to eat lunch with players should inform a staff member at Westmoreland Country Club and be prepared to pay for charges via cash or credit card.

Practice: Practice rounds can be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 724-327-2345. The PGA Golf Professional is Anthony Pagliari. Practice rounds are available on Thursday, June 3 before noon and Tuesday, June 18. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player. Practice rounds will be at a cost of $25.

 

Tee Markers: All play will be from the BLUE WPGA tee markers. The course will play roughly 6,600 yards depending on conditions and yardages will vary from round to round. 

 

Transportation/Caddies: Players and Caddies are required to walk for the championship. Players may bring their own caddies if they so choose. Caddies must walk in performance of their duties. A parent, stepparent, or guardian may not serve as a caddie.

 

Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Greensburg area. You may also create an account with Affinity Travel Benefits here and find lodging to close to the tournament site on the Association Tournaments tab.

 

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, coffee & juices prior to the competition and lunch will be provided between rounds of the competition. The WPGA provides lunch for players only. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

 

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and fifteen minutes (4:15). The Pace of Play Policy can be found HERE.

 

Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted for the competition without pre-approved ADA verification. Please contact the WPGA office for ADA guidelines. ADA carts are based on availability. Spectators may purchase lunches at their own expense. Directions to the club can be found on the Westmoreland Country Club website.
