Utah State Amateur Last Chance Qualifier - Glendale

Registration Opens: Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 08:00 AM

Registration Closes: Monday, June 24, 2019 at 08:10 AM

Registration opens: June 25 at 8:00 am (This event will fill quickly - if you do not know your tournament username and password, please contact the UGA at least a day prior to when registration opens)
 
Registration closes: June 26 at 4:00pm

Qualifying Spots: The number of qualifying spots will be 10% of the field (Example: 84 total players = 8 qualifying spots)
 
Eligibility: All entrants must be members of the UGA.

Handicap: Must have USGA Index of 9.9 or lower as of June 15, 2019

Tee Times: The tee time window for this qualifier will be 7:30 am – 9:30 am. The UGA will not take any tee time requests. 

Pairings: Pairings will be made by the committee.  Each player is responsible to know his tee time. Tee times will be posted on www.uga.org

Entry fee: $80 for the qualifying round. All successful qualifiers must pay an additional $135 to advance to the finals.

Refunds and withdrawals:  If a player withdraws prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.  After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund.  No refunds will be issued if a player withdraws/no-shows on the day of the event. A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day.   In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.

Dress and conduct: Players and their caddies must abide by the dress code of the hosting facility. The UGA encourages appropriate golf attire.  Each player is responsible to know the dress code and is subject to review by the tournament committee. 

Caddies and Carts:  Caddies are permitted. Caddies may wear appropriate shorts, but must wear a collared shirt. Carts are permitted for contestants through local qualifying, championship stroke play qualifying, round of 64 matches, round of 32 matches and round of 16matches.  *Contestants and caddies reaching the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals will be required to walk. Spikeless shoes: Metal spiked shoes are not permitted if prohibited by the host course.
