Welcome to the 36th Oregon Senior Men's Amateur Championship

 

CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS

 

Dates: June 25-28, 2019

 

Site: Rock Creek Country Club | Portland, Ore.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to male amateur golfers who, as of June 25, 2019 are 50 years of age or older with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 18.1 and less. All entrants must be members in good standing of an OGA Member Club. Entries will be accepted according to the lowest USGA Handicap Indexes as of the entry deadline. The field will be limited to the lowest 96 qualified men.

 

Format: The Senior defending Men’s Champion Randy Mahar and 31 finishers from the 18-hole stroke play qualifier will advance to the single elimination Championship flight match play portion of the competition, with the remaining entrants placed in single elimination match play flights according to score. There will be NO age bracket flights.

 

Entry Fee: $200

 

Entry Includes:

• One practice round and two guaranteed rounds of competition
• OGA hosted lunch first two days
• Tee prizes
• Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be awarded to the Champion

 

Exemptions: All past Senior Amateur Champions are eligible for guaranteed entry into the Championship. Exempt players must meet the eligibility requirements and must enter by the entry deadline.
