The Tennessee Super Senior Match Play Championship began in 2017 at Five Oaks Country Club in conjunction with the Senior Match Play Championship. The Super Senior Match Play Championship is open to amateurs who possess an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index of 10.0 or less from a TGA member club or course. Super Senior Amateur players must be at least 65 years of age on or before June 18, 2019.
The format for the Tennessee Super Senior Match Play is 36-hole stroke play qualifying. Following the 36-hole stroke play qualifying, the low 8 players will advance to match play. In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position(s), a hole-by-hole playoff will be conducted following the second round. Ties during the stroke play qualifying will be broken by the USGA method of tiebreaking (Last 9, last 6, last 3, etc.) to determine seeding. If necessary, the results of the playoff for the final bracket position(s) will detemine seeding.
