Please note: Registration must be completed using the player’s GHIN number.
FORMAT:
18 holes individual stroke play, 9 holes each day. ROUNDS WILL BE PLAYED IN THE AFTERNOON.
Entry Fee: $100 includes greens fees and practice balls prior to each round.
Credit cards will not be charged until registration closes and entry is accepted.
Eligibility: Open to girls with a current USGA Handicap Index as of June 1st 2019 USGA Handicap Index Revision. Age: 9-12 years old. Players must have reached their 9th birthday by Monday, June 24, 2019 but not their 13th birthday on or before June 25, 2019.
Field Size: Field limited to 12 players with the lowest Handicap Indexes.
Waitlist: All entries will be held on a waitlist until registration closes. 12 players with the lowest Handicap Indexes will then be accepted into the Starlet field. Should the number of entries exceed the field size, those not initially accepted into the field will remain on the waitlist ranked by June 1st Handicap Index and will be moved into the field in that order when an opening occurs.

June 24 Round 1 stroke play
June 25 Round 2 stroke play; playoff for 1st place, if needed
Starlets are invited to attend the Pairings Party for the Junior Girls’ State Championship,
which will be held Tuesday afternoon at the completion of play.
Tees: - CWAC marker; yardage targeted to be 2,700 yds
Prizes Awarded: Prizes awarded for lowest 18-hole score for Winner and Runner Up.
Caddies: No caddies allowed.
Practice Round: Schedule by contacting the Quail Lodge & Golf Club Pro Shop, 831-620-8808 to arrange for a practice round. For a reduced rate, let them know you are playing in the California Junior Girls’ State Championship ¾ Starlets Tournament
Transportation: No carts allowed for players or spectators.
Withdrawals and Refunds: Online withdrawal can be done prior to the close of registration; after registration closes, please contact Jennifer Noonan, JenniferNoonan@CWACgolf.org , 925.699.8731. Withdrawals after the closing date will be refunded 50% of the entry fee, up to 2 business days prior to the Championship. No refunds will be given for a withdrawal within 2 business days of the start of the Championship.
