The Northern Ohio Golf Association (NOGA) invites its members and the public to attend the 4th Annual NOGA Membership Summit & Annual Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, March 14 at the Westwood Country Club in Rocky River.
Headlining the Summit, Jerry Lemieux and the USGA’s Lee Rainwater will discuss two of golf’s hottest topics of conversation, the USGA’s recent modernization of the Rules of Golf and an introduction to the upcoming World Golf Handicap System.
Golfers, golf coaches and club officials are invited to attend the NOGA Membership Summit & Annual Meeting, with each attendee receiving a copy of The Players Edition of the Rules of Golf, in addition to complimentary coffee, tea and soft drinks.
Admission is free for NOGA members with an active GHIN number and NOGA member club officials, with a $10 admission fee for non-members.
About the Presenters
Jerry Lemieux has been a volunteer with the TDGA for the past 15 years. He is an accomplished Rules Official, has been a referee at over 75 national and international championships, in addition to other tournaments at all levels of golf. He conducts Rules of Golf and educational seminars for the TDGA, local clubs and college teams in the area. Jerry is a Director of the Western Golf Association and a member of the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship Committee.
Lee Rainwater is the Manager of Handicapping Projects & Outreach for the USGA. His current focus is on supporting domestic and international efforts toward a successful transition to the new World Handicap System. He has been with the organization for five years, and has over 13 years of experience in the golf industry. Before joining the USGA, he served as Director of Member Services for the Louisiana Golf Association.
