The Tennessee Girls' Junior Amateur Championship began in 1964 at Old Hickory Country Club.
Juniors MUST reach her 10th birthday by June 25 and have not exceeded her 19th birthday on or before June 27, 2019. Open to female amateur golfers with the following requirements: (1) meet the USGA policy on transgender individuals and (2) Applications are open to female junior amateurs who (1) have a parent/legal guardian who is a resident of the state of Tennessee or (2) possesses an active USGA/ GHIN Handicap Index ® from a TGA member club or course.
The format for the Tennessee Girls' Junior Amateur Championship is a 54-hole stroke play championship. The field is limited to 72 players. There will be two age divisions: Girls' 10-14 and Girls' 15-18. The two divisions will participate from the same yardage.
