Entry Fee: Championship - $150. Super-Senior/Net - $125. Carts and range balls are included in entry fee.
Field Size: Limited to 84 players*
Super Senior and Net: Will have competition September 5-6 only.
Format: 54 holes stroke play for the Gross Division with a cut to the low 40 & ties after the second round. All remaining flights will be 36 holes of stroke play. Each players Handicap Index as of August 15 will be used in determining the net component.
Flight Information: The tournament will have a Gross Division (age 50-64, gross only), a Super-Senior Division (65 and older, gross only) and a Net Division (age 50 and older, net only.) A player over the age of 65 may choose to compete in the overall championship but will be required to play the championship tees and will forfeit their eligibility in the super-senior division.
Eligibility: All UGA members who are 50 years of age or older as of the first day of competition are eligible to compete.
Ties: In the event of a tie for the Gross or Super-Senior Championship divisions, a hole by hole sudden death playoff will commence immediately following play. In the event of a tie for the Net division, there will be no playoff and co-champions will be crowned.
Refunds and Withdrawals: If a player withdrawals prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee. After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued if a player withdraws/no-shows on the day of the event. A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day. In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.

HANDICAP ADJUSTMENTS: The UGA reserves the right to adjust a player’s handicap prior to or during any net competition, based upon previous performances in UGA events (See section 9-3 in USGA Handicap Manual). If a player shoots significantly better than their handicap index, that player’s course handicap may be subject to reduction in current or future net events. The
UGA may review net scores that meet the requirements below:
- Course Handicap 0-5: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -2 strokes or greater
- Course Handicap 6-12: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -2 strokes or greater
- Course Handicap 13-21: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -2 strokes or greater
- Course Handicap 22-30: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -3 strokes or greater
- 30 or Greater: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -4 strokes or greater
