2019 Arkansas Women's Stroke Play Championship
Pleasant Valley Country Club
June 19-20, 2019
Eligibility: All players must be individual members of ASGA and full-time residents of the state of
Arkansas. Non-residents are not eligible, with the following exception: a person may live across the state line, such as Texarkana, Texas, but must be a member of the Texarkana Country Club and an individual ASGA member. The minimum age is 16 unless approved by the ASGA Staff.
Format: This event will be 36 holes held at Pleasant Valley CC with contestants playing 18 holes each day. There are four (4) separate divisions:
CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION
- Anyone, regardless of age, can participate in the “Championship Division”.
- Tees: Approximately 5,700+ yards
OPEN DIVISION
- Players of any age – Must Declare on Entry.
- Tees: Not to Exceed 5,600 Yards.
SENIOR DIVISION
- Players must be at least age 50 no later than July 7th, 2019.
- Tees: Not to exceed 5,600 Yards.
MASTERS DIVISION
- Players must be at least age 65 no later than July 7th, 2019.
- Tees: Not to exceed 5,000 Yards.
Entry Fee and Deadline: The entry fee of $200 includes carts and range balls for two tournament rounds, lunch and awards following the final round, tee gifts, and prizes to low finishers. Entry deadline is June 5th at 4:00 p.m.
Schedule: Practice Rounds may be played on June 18th, for a cart fee, after 11:00 a.m. You can schedule a practice round starting on Sunday, June 16th to play on Tuesday, June 18th. Round 1 will begin with tee times at 8:00 a.m. Championship Division>Open Division>Senior Division>Masters. Round 2 will begin with tee times at 8:00 a.m. followed by lunch and an awards ceremony.
Prizes/Awards: All Play will be flighted following the first round within the division, based on field size. The low finishers in each flight will receive a gift certificate from the Pleasant Valley Country Club Pro Shop.
Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available through Pleasant Valley Country Club at a rate of $70.00 per person (tax included). Please contact Pleasant Valley CC to set up practice round arrangements.
