PGA HOPE (Helping Our Veterans Everywhere)

Kentucky’s PGA HOPE program at Quail Chase Golf Course provides all Veterans with FREE golf instruction taught by local PGA Professionals.  The HOPE program is designed to provide golf as a therapeutic rehabilitation tool for all military Veterans. The lifetime sport of golf has proven to be an excellent outlet for activity and competition, but also allows Veterans to assimilate back into their community through the social interaction the game provides. Sessions include instruction, camaraderie and playing opportunities.

PGA HOPE Facts:

  • In 2018, PGA HOPE programming impacted 2,000 Veterans nationwide
  • In 2019, PGA REACH will fund PGA HOPE programming in 37 PGA Sections, with the goal of impacting 2,500 Veterans
  • Veteran suicide is a major issue in the Veteran community, and statistics show 22 Veterans a day commit suicide. PGA HOPE is working to change this statistic by utilizing the game of golf as a form of therapy.
