TUESDAY NIGHT – May 5 – GAME RULES – 5:30 Shot Gun start – head out at 5:25
Rules for the week
Team combination scores as we hear there are some shooters out there that want to take their team low…well here is your chance. We will take the team 1st best score and the teams 3rd best score for your team score
The twist
Two holes per green, one 8” cup and one regular size cup. If you are closer to the regulation cup, will you putt towards the 8”? How much closer will you need to be? As an individual each person can pick which cup they would like to putt too.
The competition
Closest to the pin – both holes are in play. If you are closer to one of the two pins, move the marker! Holes 2 and 8. $30 to the winner for each closest to the pin.
If the ball hits the big hole and pops out – count it as in.
Three $30 Cash draw in the Clubhouse along with closest to the pin competitions presentations.

We are moving it around this week. Each player must play from the Black 3x, Gold 3x and Green Tees 3x. We will take the best 1 and 3 and combine for your team score.
Plan out your round and try to take advantage of some of the holes. Take note, being farther up may sometimes bring more danger into play.
Appreciate playing from the Green's this week. Next week is the US Open, which is all about pain and suffering.

Sorry guys, this is the US Open. It is not about "fun" or "enjoying" your round this week. The US Open not only tests all facets of your game, but your mental stamina, your willingness to win, your patience, and your ability to move on after a bad bounce or bad decision. The course will play long for many of you, pins will be placed along the perimeters of the green (No middle pins in the US Open!) and a few of you may even be pleasantly surprised by your new found ability, others, may be utterly disappointed. It will be a shamble - so take the best drive and play your own ball from there. We will take best 1 and 3 this week.
Since the US Open can be about putting we will have longest putts made contests on holes1 , 6 and 9. Straightest Drive #7 and Closest to the Pin #2 and #8

Let's make sure we all have four players this week. If you need a spare please let me know.
