Perdido Bay Golf Joint Chapter Event

When:  September 6-8 with 3 tee times available on Friday, September 6 between 12:30-1:30. Scramble event is Saturday, September 7 with tee times beginning at 10:30.  Optional tee times available for Sunday, September 8 at 10:30.  Email Bobbie Markham at bobbie_markham@bellsouth.net if you are interested in playing on Sunday as well.  There will also be a poolside party at Annette Thompson’s home in Perdido Key on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Email Bobbie as well if you will be attending the party. 

What:   We will do a scramble event on Saturday, September 7 with the members of Annette Thompson’s group.  They are not officially a chapter yet, but hopefully will be very soon. 

Cost:  The cost for golf is $37 which includes greens fee, cart fee and range balls. 

Accommodations:  The chapter will not be making arrangements for accommodations so you will need to make your own.  Hopefully, these ideas will give you some great options:  

Cottages are available at the golf resort.  http://www.perdidobaygolf.com/cottages_home/.  The cottages have rates for single rooms and 1, 2,3 and 4 bedroom suites that include a washer/dryer and a grill. The rates run from $149 for a 1 bedroom up to $399 for a 4 bedroom suite per night.  Check the website for more info. 

If you prefer to stay beachfront in a hotel, we recommend Orange Beach, AL. By car, it's only 20 minutes away from Perdido Bay Golf Club. Pensacola Beach, on the other hand, is about a 45-minute drive across downtown Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. Downtown Pensacola has great options too. It's 25-30 minutes from Perdido.
