Starting Times & Pairings: Starting times will be e-mailed to all players and available on the qualifier portal approximately seven days before the qualifier.
Format: All participants will play 18 holes of stroke play on Thursday, July 25th. Starting times will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. The number of qualifying spots will be posted when available.

Traffic Notification: The traffic in and around this area of Connecticut is extremely heavy throughout the day. Please make sure to take these traffic conditions into consideration when planning your departure and arrival times.
Registration: When you arrive at Whitney Farms Golf Course, please check in at the registration table located at the front of the Clubhouse. All players are required to register upon arrival.
Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available for all competitors based on course availability at a cost of $30 (walking) and $40 (riding). Players must call the Whitney Farms Golf Shop at (203) 268-0707 to book a practice round. Please identify yourself as a contestant in the Northern Junior Qualifier when booking your practice round.
Practice Facility: The practice range and putting green area will be available for your use beginning at 6:45am. Range balls will be provided free of charge for all competitors.
Food & Beverage: The Whitney Farms GC restaurant will be available for Food & Beverage beginning at 10:30am.
Rangefinders and GPS System: Rangefinders and GPS systems will be permitted during the competition, provided the player uses a device to measure distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player will be disqualified.
Dress Code: The Northern Junior Championship has a dress code policy which all players must adhere to. All players and spectators are required to wear a collared shirt which must be tucked in at all times. Jeans are not allowed and hats must be worn in a traditional manner. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
Late to Tee (Rule 6-3): In accordance with USGA rules, any player who arrives late to their assigned tee time within 5 minutes will have the opportunity to play and will be assessed a two stroke penalty. If the player arrives more than 5 minutes late to their assigned tee time, they will be disqualified. There are NO exceptions to this rule in order to be fair to the rest of the field, and refunds will not be issued for disqualifications.
Withdrawals & Refund Policy: Any player wishing to withdraw must notify the tournament office at (860)-249-1734 or tournament@northernjunior.com by July 21st to receive a refund.
Other Information:
- Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued permanent handicap placard.
- Caddies are not permitted during tournament play
- Non-motorized push/pull carts are permitted
