Practice Round: A practice round may be scheduled by contacting the golf shop and introducing yourself as a competitor in the field.

Withdrawals:  Please advise the NEGA office immediately at (774) 430-9016 if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the NEGA office may disqualify the player from future NEGA competitions. If there is a need to call the office after the close of business on Friday, August 23rd, please e-mail Greg Howell at ghowell@massgolf.org.

 

Format: 18 holes, stroke play

 

Qualifying Spots Available: 18 players and ties will advance to the Championship Proper. Any player that finishes within 1 stroke of the cut line will automatically be added to the alternate list for the Championship. 

 

Caddies/Automotive Transportation: The use of golf carts is permitted during the qualifying round and included in the players entry fee. Caddies are allowed to ride in the cart, but players should note that there are 2 carts available per group, thus allowing 4 seats per group. The use of push carts is also allowed.

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

                                                                                                                     

Starting Times: Play will begin off #1 at 7:30am. 

 

Competition Tees/Yardage: The competition will be played from the BLACK tees (Approx. 6,350 yards; par 72).

 

Golf Shop and Practice Facilities: Open and available at 7:00 am.

 

Food and Beverage: The restaurant will be available on the day of competition. Both cash and credit are accepted.
