Format
Format will be 18 holes, four-ball stroke play.
Qualifying Spots
The site has been allocated two (2) qualifying sides and two (2) alternate sides.
COVID Provisions (Please Read)
- Scorecards will be digital as well as physical scorecard will be provided. Scorecards are not to be exchanged. Scores will be verbally certifed after the round.
- All additional paperwork (Notice to Players, Hole Locations, etc.) will be provided digitally.
- Masks must be used when inside any building at Maketewah CC. Players/caddies are asked to bring their own mask.
- Drinks will only be provided on Holes #1 & #10. Maketewah also has several contactless drink stations for use during your round.
- Hand santizer will be provided to all players. Please use when touching common touch points (flagsticks, etc.)
- Bunker rakes will not be provided on the course. Disturbed areas will be treated as ground under repair.
- Flagsticks with pool noodles will be used. Players should not remove the flagstick from the hole. Ball will still need to come to rest within the circumference of the hole to be holed under the Rules of Golf.
- Spectators attending the qualifier are strongly discouraged. There is a limit of 1 spectator per participant.
- Scoreboards will not be provided. Players waiting to see if they have made the final qualifying spot or alternate spots are asked to wait in their cars or at another safe location (i.e. no congregating near scoring area permitted). Scores will be available for view online.
- Should there be a suspension of play requiring evacuation of the course, all players and caddies are asked to wait out the delay in their cars.
Ties & Playoff
If there is a tie for the last qualifying spot or either of the alternate positions, there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. It is the players' responsibility to keep informed as to the time and status of any playoff.

Hole #16 Tee will be the front of the 483 Tee on Hole #14.
Practice Rounds
Practice Rounds are available on Saturday, October 3rd after 12:00 PM. Please contact the club to schedule in advance. Cost is $35 + $25 if you choose to use a golf cart.
Note: Maketewah Country Club is aerifying the course the week of September 13th. Players should schedule practice rounds nearer to the Qualifier to practice in similar conditions.
Players must play only from the tee markers, and must play one ball.
Automotive Transportation/Caddies/Push Carts
Caddies are not available; players may provide their own caddie. Players must not ride on any form of transportation during the round unless authorized by the Committee.
Caddies will have the option to use carts to transport a player's clubs. They are subject to the rental fee charged by the Host Facility. Carts for caddies are limited to two per group.
Golf Carts are not available for spectators. Players may use their own push/pull carts.
Time of Starting
Report to the tee no less than 5 minutes before your assigned starting time.
Conforming Golf Balls/Conforming Driver Heads/One-Ball Rule/Clubs: Grooves
Only brands of balls on the most current USGA List of Conforming Golf Balls and driver heads on the most current USGA List of Conforming Driver Heads may be used. The "One-Ball Rule" & the Grooves & Punch Mark Specifications, Local Rules prescribed in Section 8 of Committee Procedures, will be in effect.
Distance Measuring Devices
Distance measuring devices are permitted during this competition.
