Dates: July 30 - August 2, 2020
Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members
Registration Deadline: 11:59 p.m. MT July 16, 2020.
Entry Fee: $225.00 for exempt players into the championship. Qualifying fees will be $95.00 per player with an additional $135.00 for successful qualifiers.
Field Size: Maximum of 84 players based on exemptions and successful qualifiers.
Qualifying: Players that are not on the EXEMPT LIST must go through a qualifying round at a course listed above.
Format: 72 holes of stroke play. A 36-hole cut will be made to the low 40 players and ties.
Thursday (7/30): 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10
Friday (7/31): 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10
Saturday (8/1): 7:00 a.m. off hole #1 only.
Sunday (8/2): 7:00 a.m. off hole #1 only.
Walking Only Event: The CGA Amateur Championship is a walking only event. Players may carry their bag, bring a caddie or use a push cart. Caddies may also use push carts.
Driving Range: The driving range will be available at 6:00 a.m. each morning at no additional cost to the player.
Player Food: Player food will be the responsibility of the player for cash or credit card. For Saturday only, a buffet lunch will be provided for all remaining players in the field after their round.
