2020 CGA Super-Senior Match Championship - Legacy Ridge GC
 

 

 

 

Due to health and safety concerns regarding COVID-19, the CGA Super-Senior Match Play Championship will be be moved from Indian Peaks Golf Course to Legacy Ridge Golf Course
 

 

 

Host Facility: Legacy Ridge Golf Course. This course has been updated due to COVID-19 restrictions to be held at Legacy Ridge Golf Course.

 

Original Dates: Tuesday, May 12 - Thursday, May 14, 2020

 

Rescheduled Dates: Tuesday, September 22 - Thursday, September 24, 2020
 

Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members at least age 64 years old on or before the start of the championship.

 

Registration Deadline: 11:59 p.m. MT. Wednsday, September 16th

 

Entry Fee: $155.00 per player

 

Format: Match play bracket at scratch, a bracket of 32 players. The field will be filled by first come, first served. When the field is full, a wait list will be built.

 

Seeding: The defending champion will be the #1 seed. The rest of the field will be seeded based on their 2020 CGA Super-Senior Player of the Year points. Players without CGA Super-Senior Player of the Year points will be seeded based on their GHIN index at the time of the registration deadline. 

 

Starting Times:

Tuesday (9/22): Round of 32 beginning at 8:00 a.m.

 

Wednesday (9/23): Round of 16 beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. Round of 8 beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m.

 

Thursday (9/24): Semifinal matches beginning at 8:00 a.m. Championship match beginning at approximately 1:00 p.m. 

 

Carts: Cart fees are included in the players entry fee for the duration of the championship.

 

Driving Range: Available at no additional charge to the player. Available at 7:00 a.m.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Must measure distance only.
