Thank you for your entry into the 32nd Oregon Mid-Amateur Championship, September 26 - 27 at the OGA Golf Course. Enclosed you will find your starting time for the first round on Saturday, September 26. Upon the completion of Saturday’s round, the field will be repaired by gross score for the final round on Sunday, September 27. Sunday’s starting times will begin at 8:00 am off of holes #1, please plan accordingly.

COVID-19 Guidelines and Liability Waiver: Players should review the Guidelines. All players and spectators must sign the following liability waiver before they will be allowed to participate. It is recommended that the waiver be signed before coming on site. Please forward the following link to those you designate as your spectator so they can fill out the waiver.

Arrival and Check In: Players and attendees may not arrive at tournament site earlier than 35 minutes prior to the contestant’s starting time. Players are asked to report to their starting tee, 5 minutes before their designated starting time. No starters boxes with supplies available; players are required to bring their own pencils, tees, ball markers, divot tools, etc.
Tournament Information and Results: Will all be provided digitally on the OGA’s website or through the USGA Tournament Management App, GGID: ORMIDAM20. No onsite scoreboard will be available.
Practice: The OGA will host warm up range balls for contestants. Limited time on driving range and practice putting green prior to round will be permitted.
Registration: There will not be any registration, tee prizes will be handed out after the first round.
Food and Beverage: a boxed lunch will be provided during Saturday’s round. Additional food and beverage will be available.
Cart Reservations: Only single rider carts will be available for a fee of $20. Carts will be rented on first come first serve basis unless they were reserved during registration.
Caddies and Spectators: Caddies will not be allowed during this championship. Players are allowed one spectator to accompany them before during and after the round.
Practice Rounds: Players may call the OGA Golf Course at 503 – 981-4653 X4 to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds will be available on a space available basis after 1:00pm on Friday – Sunday and the week prior. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. You must identify yourself as a Mid-Amatuer Championship Contestant in order to receive your complimentary practice round. Players who wish to use their practice round are expected to abide by all club rules including pace of play.
OGA Dress Code: Proper attire must be worn at all times. Proper attire does not include spandex body wear, cutoffs, running shorts, short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts, or denim of any kind. Neat and clean pants, slacks, cords, or appropriately hemmed, tailored shorts are acceptable, as are sweaters and golf shirts with a collar. Shoes must be worn at all times. Competitors in violation of this policy will not be permitted to begin play and may have their entry revoked should a violation occur before the close of competition. In addition to the competitor, a player’s caddie is also required to adhere to the OGA Dress Code.

Score Posting: will be done by the OGA for each round after the Championship has been completed. The OGA will post each player’s adjusted score to GHIN as a tournament score, for handicapping purposes.
Cancellations: It is extremely important that you contact the OGA office, 503-981-4653, as soon as possible if you are forced to withdraw from the championship. We expect all entrants to complete their rounds and fulfill their playing obligations.
