*This event serves as a concurrent qualifier for the CGA Mid-Amateur Championship. The qualifier is first and foremost a USGA Mid-Amateur championship qualifier. Only players that are registered for the USGA Mid-Amateur Championship qualifier may also use this site as a CGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier. You may not play in this event as a CGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier only.

 

 

 

**Prohibiting Use of Audio and Video Devices: During a round, a player must not listen to or watch content of any nature on a personal audio or video device (G-8).

Age Limit: Must be 25 on or before September 12, 2020

 

Registration Opens: The week of May 18th

 

Registration Closes: 5:00 PM EDT July 29, 2020

 

Entry Fee: $175.00

 

Amateur Handicap Index limit: 3.4

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Must measure distance only.

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie. Caddies may use a pull cart. Players may not ride in a motorized cart.

 

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

Qualifying Positions: TBD

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Starting Time: 7:30 a.m. off holes #1 and #10 

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be made available by 6:30 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

Player Food: Player food will be the responsibility of the player.

 

Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores.

 

Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.

 

One Ball Rule: Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of teh Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-3.

 

Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round. Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification
