CGA Amateur Championship Qualifier #1 - Fort Collins Country Club
*This event serves as a concurrent qualifier for the CGA Amateur Championship. The qualifier is first and foremost a US Amateur Championship qualifier. Only players that are registered for the US Amateur Championship qualifier through the USGA's website may ALSO use this site as a CGA Amateur Qualifier. You may not play in this event as a CGA Amateur Qualifier only.
If you are registered for the US Amateur Championship qualifier and would also like to use this site as a qualifying round for the CGA Amateur Championship, your 36-hole total score will be used as your qualifying score against the other players that are also registered for the concurrent CGA Amateur qualifier.

Please note that to participate in the concurrent CGA Amateur qualifier there is the additional $95.00 fee that would also be collected if you were to participate at another standalone CGA Amateur Qualifier

Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members
Entry Fee: $95.00 for qualifying only. Successful qualifiers will need to pay an additional $130 for entry into the Championship
U.S. Amateur Registration Deadline: 5:00 p.m. ET. June 24, 2020. Players must also register through the USGA website, linked above.
Handicap Index Limit: 2.4
Format: 36 holes of stroke play. For the CGA Amateur Qualifier, the total 36 hole score will be used.
CGA Amateur Qualifying Positions: TBD
CGA Amateur Alternate Positions: TBD
Starting Times: Round 1 will begin at 7:00 a.m. from holes #1 and #10. Round 2 will begin at approximately 12:00 p.m. from holes #1 and #10.
Walking Only Event: All stages of a United States Amateur Championship are walking only. A player may use a caddie (must walk), carry their own bag, or use a pull cart.
Pull Carts: Fort Collins Country Club has a limited amount of pull carts on site and will be allotted on a first come first served basis for $20.00. Players may call the pro shop prior to the qualifier and reserve a pull cart. Players may also bring their own pull cart.
Driving Range: The driving range will be available beginning at 6:16 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.
Distance Measuring Devices: Must measure distance only.
Practice Round Information: Please call the pro shop to arrange a practice round. $45.00 per round, $20.00 cart fee, $9.00 range fee. Tee times may be made three (3) days in advance. No times are available on Saturday, July 4th.

Player Food: Breakfast options will be available for purchase at 7:00 a.m. Grab and go lunch will be available for cash or credit at the grill between rounds.
Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores to GHIN.
Successful Qualifiers: CGA Members that successfully qualify will be exempt into the 2020 CGA Amateur Championship.
Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.
One Ball Rule: Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.
Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-3.
Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round.
