Eligibility

All golfers must have an active and established Handicap Index to compete in a local tournament and to advance to the Audi quattro® Cup 2020 Final.

Participants must be either a member of the hosting golf club or invited by the Audi Dealer hosting and organizing the local tournament.

All golfers must be registered prior to the start of their local tournaments at https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/2279031

The quattro Cup Tournament is an amateurs-only event. Professional golfers may not compete.

Men and women are not segregated — both will play from the same stroke indexes.

Distance measuring devices are permitted as long as their only function is measuring distance. Devices that provide extra information (e.g., club selection, shot type, wind,etc.) are not permitted.

Players must have played in 5 of the 6 Audi qualifiers(including the final) in order to stand a chance to win the overall prize.

Audi Center Bahrain have a car up for grabs for the first hole in one on the 16th hole during any Audi quattro Cup event which must measure 180 yards for men and 167 yards for ladies. (participants must be 18 years and older in order to claim this prize)

Game Mode

The method of play for all 2019 Audi quattro Cup local tournaments is a individual stableford.

Points are awarded for the following net scores:

Bogey +1             = 1 point                              Par                         = 2 points

Birdie    -1           = 3 points                            Eagles-2               = 4 points

Albatros-3           = 5 points

No ‘‘gimme’’ putts.

No ‘‘Mulligans.’’  

Players should mark their scorecards with the gross score for each individual hole. Points will be allocated at the end of the tournament by the tournament committee.

The Rules Committee shall be comprised of the following: Director of Golf, Tournament Coordinator, Golf Operations Manager, Head Golf Professional, and a representative from Audi Center Bahrain.

Handicap

Any player who wishes to compete must submit a handicap index when they register or prior to the tournament date. If there is a discrepancy as to whether a handicap is valid, Audi Center Bahrain will work with the Tournament Officials at the Royal Golf Club

Maximum Allowance

Men – 28 (Before Adjustment)

Ladies – 36 (Before Adjustment)

Playing handicap will be adjusted to a 75% handicap allowance.
