Registration UPDATE for 2020: 

Modified registration for this year, due to The City of Loveland and The Olde Course at Loveland’s COVID-19 Golf Policies there are three types of registration available.

Walking only and double rider registrants are guaranteed a spot in the championship, these numbers will determine how many "single rider" registrations are pulled in considering cart fleet numbers/covid restrictions. 

PLEASE READ THROUGH THE BELOW REGISTRATION TYPES: 

  1. $155 - Walking Only (Guaranteed spot in the Championship - based on total registration numbers): I will walk both days of the championship. Players may bring a caddie, carry their bag or use a pushcart electric or otherwise. The Olde Course at Loveland is an extremely walkable course.

Note: If an empty cart seat happens to be in your pairing group during the Championship, the player may not use the cart in any way as this is a reduced entry fee.

  1. $185Double Occupancy Rider (Guaranteed spot in the Championship - based on total registration numbers): I wish to ride.  I am willing to ride with someone else paired in my group.

Note: If you have an ADA cart request please contact kmoore@coloradogolf.org after registering.   

  1. $185Single Rider (NOT Guaranteed a spot in the Championship): I wish to ride, and I can only play in this event if I have my own cart.

Note: If you have an ADA cart request AND a COVID health related reason for single rider please contact kmoore@coloradogolf.org after registering.

 

Entry Fee:

Walking: $155 per competitor 

Riding: $185 per competitor

COVID Note: Registration changes for 2020.  

 

Field Size: 88 entrants 

COVID Note: Field size has been reduced to fit a tee time start. 

 

Format: 36 holes of individual stroke play. Competitors are pre-flighted according to playing handicap with approximately 16 players per flight. The championship flight is comprised of the low 12 playing handicaps. NOTE: To be eligible to compete in this championship, players must have reached their 50th birthday on or before August 17

 

Handicap Index Details: 30.0 maximum

Note: All players will compete at 95% of course handicap (new in 2020).

Cart: Optional. 

COVID Note: Cart options: See above under registration information.  

 

Caddies: Caddies are allowed. Caddies MUST WALK, they cannot ride in a cart if a seat is available. 

COVID Note: For 2020 ONLY, due to the walking only option and a tee time start, caddies are allowed.   

 

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top gross and net finishes within each flight. The person with the lowest gross score after 36 holes in the championship flight will also receive a trophy and will be the State Champion. Ties for low gross in the championship flight will be played off in a hole-by-hole playoff. For all other ties, prize money will be combined and divided equally among tied players.

Starting Time: Tee times begining at 7:30am. 

COVID Note: This is a change from the prevously noted shotgun start. 

 

Yardage: Available under the Championship Information tab. 

 

Flights: Available under the Championship Information tab after the revision date being used.  

 

Food & Beverage: A boxed lunch will be provided on the last day following play, included in entry.

Score Posting: The CGA will post scores for players. 

 

Defending Champion: Kristine Franklin
