Host Facility: Walnut Creek Golf Preserve

 

Qualifier Date: Monday, June 22, 2020

 

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

Registration Deadline: 5:00pm EDT May 20, 2020. Players must register through the USGA linked above.

 

Entry Fee: $100.00

 

Age Limit: Cannot be 19 years old on or before July 18, 2020

 

Handicap Index Limit: 9.4

 

Qualifying Positions: TBD

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Starting Time: 

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie.

 

Caddies: A player may NOT use a parent, stepparent, or guardian as a caddie during Sectional Qualifying of the Championship proper. 

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Distance measuring devices must measure distance only.

 

One Ball Rule: Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-3.

 

Practice Round Information: Tee times are subject to availability, can be made 14 days in advance by calling the pro shop at 303-469-2974 or online HERE. Pricing: Rates can be found HERE. 

 

Yardage Information: Will be available under the Qualifier Information tab. 

 

Food & Beverage: Food will be available for purchase at the player's responsibility. 

 

Posting of Scores: The CGA will post scores for players with active GHIN numbers.

 

National Championship: July 13 - 18. Eisenhower Golf Course, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
