ELIGIBILITY

Open to two-man teams of male amateur golfers.

FORMAT

54 holes of Four-Ball stroke play.  There will be a cut to the low 36 teams and ties after 36 holes.

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Country Club of Columbus to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation on August 6.  Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted.

  • Tuesday - Thursday, anytime based on availability.
  • Sunday, before 11:00 a.m.

YARDAGES & TEES

Yardages will be posted online before the close of entries and at the host club.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on August 18.  

REGISTRATION

No formal registration will be held on site. Player/team withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted.

CARTS

Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available at the half way house.

PRIZES

Gift certificates will be awarded to the low 18 team finishers.

REFUND POLICY

A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling the GSGA Rules and Competitions Department at (770) 955-4272 or (800) 949-4742 or via email to jfages@gsga.org

 

**For the remainder of 2020, a player may request a FULL refund for a withdraw up until their starting time on the first day of competition for ANY reason.  After the player's starting time has passed on the first day of competition, refunds will not be granted.

CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION - The following conditions shall be in effect for this competition:

  • GSGA competitions are "spikeless" events. Therefore, metal and traditionally-designed spikes are prohibited. Penalty for breach of this condition is disqualification.
